• 42-bit Kodak CCD (4.4DMax)

The Kodak CCD delivers pre-press levels of details in highlight

and shadow areas plus highly accurate colour values

compared to many other scanners in this class.

• FireWire and SCSI-II Ports

Includes SCSI (Mac & Win) and FireWire card (Win) plus cables.

• Adjustable Medium Format Holder

The 6cm glass-free holder is now adjustable to fully support all

medium format sizes including 6 x 4.5cm, 6 x 6cm, 6 x 7cm

and 6 x 9cm films.

• Glass-Free Transparency Unit

Emulsion Direct Imaging Technology (E.D.I.T) allows scanning

directly through film with NO glass eliminating Newton Ring

distortion. Glass-free scanning delivers very sharp results.

• Anti-Newton Ring Glass

Glass-free scanning delivers the best scans but some film

(eg. panoramic) must be scanned via the universal glass holder.

This holder now features Anti-Newton Ring glass, usually seen

on scanners costing over twice the price.

• Mac OS X and Windows XP Compliant

SilverFast Ai Pro 6 is fully compatible with Mac OS X (in native

mode) and Windows XP. Plug-in is fully Adobe Photoshop 7

compliant.

• SilverFast Ai

Pro 6 with Scratch & Dust Removal

SilverFast Ai Pro is a professional scanning solution that

delivers brilliant scans from the ArtixScan 2500f. Includes dust

& scratch removal, ICC calibration, grain reduction and adaptive

colour restoration (see page 3 to 5).

• Two Year Total Support

Total Support offers 24 months telephone support and swap-out

service should the hardware fail in the 2 year period.

ArtixScan 2500f. This scanner, however,

costs a fraction of the price.

- A unique cooling system called

Flotherm™, optimises the sensitivity

of the CCD by maintaining a constant

temperature within the scanner.

- Low flare lenses and mirrors reduce

unwanted distortions and ensure

maximum tonal range from your scans.

- Vibrations at 2,500 dpi can ruin a scan.

The AS2500 eliminates this with it’s

innovative 3D Anti-Vibration System.

- Scanning transparencies without the

interference of glass results in visibly

sharper results with increased colour

accuracy.
